About
Mark Rivkin is a successful and innovative entrepreneur, responsible for revolutionizing the online gaming industry and creating a new way for people to interact and enjoy the online world. Mark and his family grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and would later attend the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, where he graduated with honours.
A few years after he graduated, Mark and his brother Andrew Rivkin came up with the idea that would forever change their lives for the better, as it would so many others. They founded Cryptologic, the world’s first online gaming software company. It allowed people to play a variety of games, connect with others, and safely and securely exchange money and win at playing.
The company became a huge success, and that triumph was followed by futures successes. Currently Mark Rivkin is the owner of QT Inc., a Venture Capital and Private Equity company, specializing in management and strategic consulting as well as real estate investments. Mark Rivkin is also a director at Groove Media, a Toronto based publisher of interactive software, combing tradition video games and skill game with e-commerce.
The goals Mark Rivkin have achieved are well much deserved, but with the accomplishment comes responsibility. Mark is a charitable person, giving back to both his community and culture. His most notable philanthropic work is with the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Israel, and its respective foundation in Canada. It is a hospital that offers passionate care to anyone, regardless of their race or religion, and is a group that Mark and his family are particularly proud of.
In his free time, Mark enjoys playing hockey and golf, among many other sports. As well, he is an avid photographer and music enthusiast, and of course, a seasoned gamer.
